Welcome to evergreen... we try hard to make the heart of this community be relationship. Our relationships with one another and our relationship with God. We invite everyone, regardless of where they might be at spiritually to come and be a part of evergreen, seek God with us, and see if this life of following Jesus isn't for them as well. No promises of an easy road... just people to walk it with you.

Series: How the Gospel Shapes Our Thinking

Beginning June 28th, we'll pause our time in the Gospel of John for 5 weeks and take up again our intermittent series: How the Gospel Shapes our Thinking. Join us!
 
Concert- Fri Jul 17th

Evergreen is proud to host the Banyan Tree Family Tour.

This tour will go from Santa Cruz, Calif. to the Pacific Northwest. We're going to host the concert

July 17th at 7pm at Burlingame Church.  

Only $5 for admission, so it's cheap to do as a family, community house, whatever.   Actually, if you wouldn't mind inviting everyone you know, we'd really appreciate it!
 
July 19th- Dedication

July 19th we're going to do something a bit different- not exactly a Combined Gathering (though we have some of those in the works as well), but...

Our two morning gatherings will meet together @ Quimby at our regular time

Burlingame/Evening gathering at it's regular time/location...

We'll be doing two things in addition to our worship-
1st- we want to have a child dedication- a time when we bless the newest evergreeners and pray for them, and pray for their parents as well.

2nd- we haven't done too many guest speakers in our history, but  a new friend of our community, JR Woodward, a church planter in Hollywood/LA, pastoring a very evergreen-like church will be in town, staying at the Hyatt's, hanging out and getting to know evergreen a little- and we've invited him to speak to our community- so he'll be at our combined morning gatherings and our evening gathering.

Evil Pub!
Dustin is leading a 3-4 week discussion through the major issues/questions around the concept of Evil- using the book "Evil and the Justice of God" by NT Wright. Wednesdays, August 5th, 12th, 19th @ 7pm Space is limited, so sign up here!
